Review on Enhanced Fluke 110 Plus Essential Multimeter with True-RMS Capability (Model: 772343) by Jarrett Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ignore the bad reviews, this is a great basic DMM.

As stated in the title, ignore the (3) bad reviews (as of 12/18) for this multimeter. They were abandoned by 3 people doing basic research or reading their instruction manuals: 2 people complained that it didn't measure capacitance. Oh well. The cap icon is missing from the DMM's selection wheel, as can be clearly seen in the product image. You can also find this via a Google search. 1 person complained that it didn't work and had no fuse. I think their troubleshooting was trying to turn it on and saying "not working". Now for the actual assessment. Fluke makes outstanding handheld digital multimeters, and they're no exception. I used the 87, 88, 110, 114, 115, and 117 multimeters. If you want to perform basic continuity, insulation, and voltage tests, this multimeter is for you. I work for a contract manufacturer of electromechanical products and we use these for our production staff to inspect the assemblies they produce. Employees love them because they are simple, easy to use and reliable. No additional functions for sorting.
