You can probably drop this one

Can't speak to durability yet as I've only just received it but compared to the $12 I had before. which I accidentally dropped into the water for half a second. died.instantly.this just FEEL good. You can see all the silicone pads built into it. I don't know if it can actually be submerged in water, but I feel like I can have an "oh shit" moment from time to time and I'll be fine. Once calibrated, it seems very accurate. I already had another brand of calibration solution and it justified itself. I like the backlit display (wish it was green) and the emoji that shows a stable reading. The manual also says you can let this probe dry and it won't damage it, but it needs to be soaked in a solution. That sounds great to me. I do my best to rinse with Rhodi water, then dip my pH meter in storage solution and put the cap on after use. But sometimes I forget and I have another oh shit moment. I only know what a quality product is when I use it. This is a quality product unless it fails unexpectedly. At this point I will update my review. I'm loving it at the moment. Hello dear hobby chemists! EDIT 12/23/19: Well, it didn't take long. I fell three feet into my mix and had to fish yesterday. Finally pulled out, still on and still showing an accurate pH reading. I LOVE this meter.
