For anyone doing FMQ on their home machine, this ring works really well!. This 11 inch ring costs a lot less than Sparrow (of Canada) will charge you and ships in two days on Revain Prime. You'll be amazed at how well it captures the sandwich, resulting in beautiful FMQ. I've used it many times and can tell you how much better my handleless FMQ is with this 11 inch ring. Don't go for the 8" as it's the perfect size for any car regardless of the size of the harp. I know it's difficult to judge a good product from reviews but trust me I do do a lot of FMQ on a home machine when quilting bed size quilts and this makes the process so much easier and reduces the strain on my hands and This is a time when you can be sure how well it works without testing it .
