Review on Efficient 4 X Cubette Mini Ice Cube Trays - Set of 4, White by Justin Cage

I do not recommend these trays. I bought them to make little ice cubes out of juice and ended up throwing the juice away instead of solving the problem of how to get the ice cubes out of the tray. I have tried. I spilled water on the back of the trays, let them sit on the counter for a few minutes and tried to empty them into a 2 gallon bag. Most of the ice cubes stayed in the trays. Finally, I placed them diced side down under running water and let the juice I worked so hard to make (from a fresh pineapple) just melt and run down the drain. a connection between the individual cells of the ice cube, so that when liquid is poured in, a full cell moves into an empty cell. Not these trays. It was impossible to keep them from overflowing. Juice stood on some cells (due to surface tension) while other cells remained empty. Maybe if I filled in every single cell with an eyedropper? (The cells are tiny, which is okay if the whole process worked.) A lot of juice was spilled transporting the trays from the counter to the freezer. On the other hand, the trays are really cute and appear to be durable. I'm thinking of using them for my scrapbooking projects - both sides can be "colored" and pressed onto the paper to make a nice pattern. However, I do not need 4 slots for this. I may discover other uses, but I definitely won't be using them to make ice cubes.
