Great razor blade
I used this blade to split 8 foot 3/4 inch long pieces of tropical hardwood (Ipe, Massaranduba, Canary Wood) into two 5/16 inch pieces. In my case, this required a 4 inch depth of cut, which I was able to make in one pass. To my surprise, I got clean cuts with no smoke or burn marks. It helps to have a 5hp saw but is still an amazing feat. for the saw. Now this is the default canvas in my shop. Of course, less stressful cuts are also very easy to do.
