I was a little concerned when I read "NATO [spec] Made in China" on the packaging. I didn't think China had anything to do with NATO, but I didn't want to be like your father and just curse every Chinese product. I have seen many good products from China. These pads are not included. General. They are. well they don't fit. They are not the same shape as the original. They're also thicker, and even if you cut them long enough to put in there, I wouldn't rely on your lid to close properly. I cut one with an exacto knife. While it has done the best job that could have been done, it still doesn't stay in place and is leaking. I have 3 different ages of NATO glasses from 2 different countries and 3 different sources. They are all the same, these pads don't match any of them. A star is given for the one thing they got right: they copied exactly the right color: black. Edit: I went back to edit this because I found it was my spouts that didn't match. They *may* reach the lids of the jars; I do not know. It was my spout seals that failed, not the canisters. I apologize for the misleading first review. Warning - it's your leak pad that needs replacing, they DO NOT WORK. I will adjust my star rating accordingly.
