I have a single wall canister that I bought at a gun store, it's not a real canister. I threw in the dice hoping they would fit as my glass would work with official sized spouts and in fact they worked perfectly. It no longer drips into the tank or stinks out of the sunroof when I fill the canister with petrol. It's really nice to be able to operate the bank and not change it.

Here are my thoughts, the gas canister is leaking so purchasing extra leak pads is a must. Replacement seals are better than the ones that came with the kit. Gaskets are expensive, but you will need them when purchasing a gas cylinder. The gas cylinder is strong, durable and will last a long time. The glass is expensive but not worth it unless you buy extra pads, they should have added them for free with the original order. You know from the reviews.

Although well shaped and thick, they don't match Wavian's NATO canisters. Does the Wavian nozzle now meet NATO specifications? which I don't know, but the Wavian spout and this pad are different sizes. The wavian spout is approximately 1/8" 1/4" larger in either direction from the opening in these spacers. These pads are thick and will not stretch to fit. They can be trimmed, but you'll spend more time trimming them than they're worth. If you have a Wavian bank, this is not for you.

Well made heavy duty thick perforated seals to fit military/European style spouts. I recommend using a seaworthy adhesive to attach the seal to the top cap so the downward pressure when closing and locking will increase the spread of the seal during use. Without adhesive, the seal can fall off and become lost or contaminated. Overfilling fuel can create a dangerous situation, especially in hot and humid environments.

I prefer to store gasoline in metal containers such as jerry cans rather than the half price plastic containers that most large stores sell. However, there is a caveat: over time, the rubber seal on the spout can dry out and cause leaks when pouring gasoline from a can. It's good to have a supply of these pads on hand to replace dried out spout pads. These are quality pads at a great price, buy a few and save for a rainy day. Delivery was on time. They go perfectly with my new 10 and 5 liter Atlantic/British jerrycans. Not only are they petrol resistant (as expected) but they are also resistant to acetone which I used to clean xs Red Kote to complement the interior of these cans. I didn't think China had anything to do with NATO, but I didn't want to be like your father and just curse every Chinese product. I have seen many good products from China.
