I prefer to store gasoline in metal containers such as jerry cans rather than the half price plastic containers that most large stores sell. However, there is a caveat: over time, the rubber seal on the spout can dry out and cause leaks when pouring gasoline from a can. It's good to have a supply of these pads on hand to replace dried out spout pads. These are quality pads at a great price, buy a few and save for a rainy day.
