Review on πŸ₯© Zintak Professional Defrosting Tray: Thaw Frozen Meat Faster with NEW Silicone Border Design & EXTRA LARGE Meat Defroster Tray - No Electricity Needed! - Meat Thawing Board by Alexis Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Had my doubts but I'm glad I bought it.

For convenience, I often eat out or buy fast food because I don't have the patience to thaw meat from the freezer. I finally settled on a deco bowl to help me "grow up" and save myself from eating. I bought this tray based on the good reviews, great price and the color scheme of my kitchen. Since I didn't thaw the meat on the hot minute, I decided to thaw 1.25 pounds of frozen hamburger meat (don't judge too harshly). He patted this frozen fat boy on the thawing tray after placing the tray under warm water, which conducts heat faster, as recommended, and waited. It took about an hour and a half to thaw the meat for cooking so I was very impressed considering it would take 5 times longer to thaw on the counter or in the fridge. I would say it's worth buying. Also as a fun tip for defrosting trays. They're made of aluminum, which is a good conductor of heat, so food can be defrosted faster (and safer than in a microwave oven). Place the tray under warm water first to speed up the defrosting process. The rubber edge on the tray has small feet to lift the tray off the countertop, allowing air to circulate underneath to improve conductivity. I wasn't sure how swap trays work and this is the information I found. I hope this helps you save some time googling your own.
