Bellemain potato cutter is even better than online reviews. Most reviews talk about the lack of an insert for spare drives, but this seems to have been fixed as there is now a stainless steel insert to hold the drives in place. I've never used a rice cooker but have seen it a lot at cooking shows. I don't like using an electric whisk and blending is noisy and tiring! Hooray for risers! Does not require peeling and does not require much force to work. I can also prepare smaller portions just for me and my husband, as well as smaller portions of fresh applesauce or guacamole. Also good for removing excess liquid from frozen spinach and shredded veggies! Love it.
