I needed something to house extra computer gear to free up space on my desk. I had my doubts about this product, it looked potentially shabby and wobbly. A reviewer provided a photo of him with books showing that he could not handle that much weight without bending over. But since this was supposed to be a temporary fix for me, I decided it was worth trying $18. I was positively surprised! Unlike other reviewers, mine didn't leave out a single detail. It was easy to put together, although I felt like every shelf never fitted perfectly. This is actually because the corner pieces can be oriented in a variety of ways, causing the "walls" to shift by a fraction of an inch. While it was very noticeable upon assembly, I didn't notice it at all after it was assembled. It works exactly as I had hoped. Since it's "invisible," I can run cables through and clip them to the wire frame to hold them in place. It's strong enough to hold larger items, although I placed my heaviest gear on the bottom shelf as an anchor. Doesn't wobble at all. And you can put something on top of that. Nothing moves or slides in it, although I had to leave out a few items because they fell through the holes. And I just noticed that I can attach photos and notes there too. I have attached a photo. I only used 3 of the 4 shelves as I knew I could add a 4th if I ever needed more space. Obviously not the best solution for your storage needs, but practical, easy to assemble and very affordable.
