Review on Irwin Industrial Tools 53700 Extractor by Larry Boyd

Admittedly, this is one person's experience, so take it with caution. But I am completely satisfied with this product and would definitely recommend it. I had a small bolt that came off flush in a breakable mechanism. After trying some stupid ideas to get this handy with my tools I gave up and ordered this. I was a little skeptical, but it turned out to be in vain. I recommend tapping the small indentation with a center punch first; this makes it easier to guide the drill. I did and soon I was on my way. After drilling a pilot hole, I tapped the extractor with a few light taps of a hammer, and then turned the extractor by hand with pliers. It turned out flawless, which saved me from a very ugly hacksaw job. Again, I highly recommend this. There are videos online that show some of the secrets of using this tool; I suppose it can be messed up, so learn first and then act.
