Great Boxing Gloves for Women

The leather is stitched all over the outside of the cuff and is incredibly soft. What a difference from the synthetic pair I have now. The injected foam is remarkably flexible. I was worried this would make my arm vulnerable or stay hard and refuse to absorb the impact. They're soft, but due to the fact that it's a unit, they deflect shock better than anything I've used before. They are really very small, which is impressive to me! I have the benefit of 18 ounce gloves with a 14 ounce fit. Boxing gloves are not suitable for women. I need more protection than a man with stronger arms. I have big hands for a woman, not wide but long. (I wear an 8 with women's gloves to get finger length.) Another woman with small hands may not find the fit as comfortable as a larger woman. I don't know what size men's gloves are, but they don't fit a large hand. There is an unusual elasticated cuff that rolls over the traditional Velcro closure. I tested with and without a cuff. I don't need extra protection so I can leave it rolled up. Otherwise, the gloves are just as easy to put on as normal gloves. Where the cuff separates to insert the arm, a piece of elastic is sewn together to allow the cuffs to come back together after the arm is inside. I am very happy with it. I really hate it when the cuff rolls on itself and I can't straighten it. I'll keep these gloves forever. If something happens to them, I'll fix them.
