Revainrating 5 out of 5

I think this is the best tent I have ever had!

I only received this tent today and while it may be too early to review a product I have not used in the field I thought I would give my first impressions. I took this tent to the backyard and set it up. It was very easy to set up. There are three poles and each pole is color coded for a small piece of fabric at the end of the pole sleeve (2 identical poles with green pole selection matching two sections of green stripe and gray to grey). This tent is the first tent. Installing the bow tie was easy. The next step is to enter the tent and attach the levers to support the inner tent. This process is also quite easy to follow. I didn't fully anchor my tent as I just wanted to see the setup process, but there are many places to anchor this tent. The tent was pretty stable where I placed the pegs. The rain cover overhangs the entire inner tent by about 5 inches, which should help keep the ground dry when it rains. The tent is quite spacious inside. I could imagine my wife and I camping comfortably with our two medium sized dogs. Don't think that three medium-sized men would be too good a match unless they're very close. I ripped the tent open and left the inner tent attached to the fly while I did this. Next time I set up my tent it will take a few minutes as I've eliminated the entire step of attaching the inner tent to the width. This is my first time using a fly fishing tent and I can say that I actually prefer the fly method of fishing for the first installation. The material and construction of the tent was excellent from all angles. The post bushings have really been reinforced and I can see they will last as it is a more durable rubberized material. The bars almost folded themselves when I lifted them. The poles are made of very light aluminum and fit perfectly with barely visible flat seams that prevent sticking when passing through the pole sockets. The stitching throughout the tent was excellent. It is also good that the tent vestibule can be configured in many ways. There was enough space in the anteroom for a couple of decent backpacks. I pitched this tent in broad daylight and the black inner tent kept the inside of the tent relatively dark. The only downside I see with this tent is that the vestibule zippers are on the bottom of the tent when I try to open them from the inside. I'm going to attach a few pieces of paracord to them to make them easier to access from inside the tent and solve this problem. This tent comes with a great carry bag that is easy to put back into the tent. Can't wait to actually get this tent! PS- I also see that this tent is very warm, especially when the sun is beating down on it. My tent got quite warm inside during setup. It was noticeably warmer than the surrounding air. Edit - I used this tent for backyard camping. I was looking forward to a day when decent storms were expected (high winds gusting up to 55mph and heavy rain). A storm would be the worst weather I could imagine for camping. Once set up, the tent is rock solid. The tent withstood the storm well and was bone dry inside. Some people complain that there is not enough ventilation in this tent. The main tent has a traditional screen door and the vestibule can be configured to partially open the door on hot days to improve ventilation. While this leaves part of the lobby exposed to the rain, the lobby is very large, and even if half of it is dry, there's still plenty of dry space. There aren't many reviews for this tent. I watched a few YouTube videos a UK reviewer made for this tent. One is set to video. Another describes the features and ways of setting up a tent. I highly recommend watching these videos if you are considering this tent. His YouTube name is SgtFruitcake. Edit 2: I have used this tent about 20 times in total in 2 years. I also bought one for my nephew who practically lived in it all summer. I am still very impressed with this tent. I would use my tent more, but I'm transitioning to a canvas tent. I think my nephew tested it for durability with no issues. I can only say wow!
