Review on Birdbath & Fountain Protector 16 oz. – Clear Water Solution, Pack of 1 by Shannon Brown

Perhaps my expectations of this product are too high. Following the instructions for the per gallon dosage, my new and never used bird bath turned completely black in a few days. In all my years of bird watching I have never seen such black water. The tub itself had to be soaked, scrubbed and bleached before I could reinstall it. I tried this product a second time, checked the amount to use and the same thing happened. When I used this stuff in 3 different light colored pots that I turned into birdbaths it seems to work. I don't know what's so disgusting about my dark green bathtub.
