This particular cleaner did not work at all. I followed the instructions but it didn't work. Then I poured half the bottle and nothing changed.

I think my product was a used bottle. There was no seal on the bottle. However, the product works great. I live in Tennessee with high temperatures and humidity. I haven't had any algae since adding this product to my birdbath a month ago!

Bought for a small well. It works fine but the bottle arrived with a little corrosion on the back label. I didn't think much about it, but apparently there was a small pin-sized hole in the bottle. Most of the product slowly leaked under the sink where it was stored. When I went to use it again, the bottle was almost empty. That's why I only gave 3 stars.

I'm battling mold growth in a cement bird bath I've had for years and I'm so sick of cleaning it. Tried this product and it works great. There was still some algae in the base so pour fresh water into a basin along with a cap full of tread and check early in the morning and the algae will be gone. The bird bath looked great. Now I have twice as many flapping and bathing birds that are so beautiful to look at.

Disappointing first use, green algae formed in the morning after the next use. Clean, fresh chlorinated water used - followed instructions with 1/2 cap, seller suggested using a full cap, tried cleaning the fountain again, replace the water with fresh every day, less algae, and cleaning is easier than without , but apparently we have dirty birds doing their duty while bathing! It's disappointing that using a full cap instead of a half cap results in fewer uses per bottle.,

Perhaps my expectations of this product are too high. Following the instructions for the per gallon dosage, my new and never used bird bath turned completely black in a few days. In all my years of bird watching I have never seen such black water. The tub itself had to be soaked, scrubbed and bleached before I could reinstall it. I tried this product a second time, checked the amount to use and the same thing happened. When I used this stuff in 3 different light colored pots that I turned into…
