Review on 🎨 Stillman & Birn Zeta Series Hardbound Sketchbook, A4 Size - 270 GSM Extra Heavyweight, White Paper with Smooth Surface: The Perfect Companion for Artists by Nicole Mcleod

I tried several brands looking for a good sketchbook that would hold up to multiple washes and still not fray or warp. I like Pentalic albums as they are also very durable and have a 5x8 landscape (hardcover) format, but the paper can be a bit waxy. This sketchbook is just amazing, the paper is sooooo strong! I've done at least 7 washes (see photo) on one side and can still use the back of it. It will not bend or even break when you peel off some pigment. Zeta is a smooth paper that I like, but I know it's a very personal thing, once the paint has dried it does get a bit gritty after you've used multiple washes, but I really don't mind, me think the colors look great and won't be boring. I'll try cold printing to see if the texture is good, but honestly based on that I can say my sketchbook quest is over. I just want them to do a 5x8 Zeta landscape hardcover!
