The handle has long since detached from the lid of our Revere Ware. There were always more important things to take care of, so we just grabbed the lid with tongs or an oven mitt. I found this cap on Revain one day, read the reviews, ordered it and just screwed it on. Voila! Problem solved. Like new. Why have we waited so long?
