My old ones were a bit flimsy but still held some weight but then the bolts that attach them to the trailer split after years of rusting. Just couldn't find the bolts and figured I might as well put new ones in anyway considering how many old ones I had. This kit was the only one I could find with two correct length pistons and new hardware. Installation was very easy once I removed the old ones and now we can snowmobile without using a piece of wood to support the trailer cover!
