I bought this from Cave Tools as I've bought a couple of other items from them which have been great. I can tell you this is the best I have for cooking, grilling and smoking. I've wanted a hamburger press for a long time as I enjoy making my own burgers using a variety of meats. Sculpting by hand is tedious at best, which is what I've been doing for years. Yesterday I went out and bought 15 pounds of ground beef that I like, mixed it all up well and measured it out for 30.49 ounces of hamburger. Realize that in the past I would never have done that, I would only make my burgers the day I would make them. However, I was dying to drive this thing, and then I would seal and freeze the burgers. It took 1 hour 15 minutes to prepare. Make burgers in 20 minutes with this burger press. This is a great product and I will buy it again and also recommend it to friends and family. However, there are a few things to consider. At first it took me 3 to 5 hamburgers to eat it. But once I got over that, I was like a well-oiled hamburger machine. I will say that the paper inserts they give should be bigger. They close the press, but once you put the meat in, they can't get through. My personal preference would be to make them even 8 inches taller. They just came along with no extra charge so how can I complain. Here's a little tip: the handle of a hamburger press is rounded, so I used the paper on the hamburger to make my dimples in each burger (hamburger dimples have been used for years and are a must if you don't want your burgers to shrink, get smaller and getting thicker in the middle). Now the real test, the grilling. Got her dressed and dressed. They cooked faster than the ones I had hand cooked. Perfectly round, keeps its shape even after turning. The cheese and burgers came out perfect, like I bought them frozen at the store. Like the Harris Ranch bag that you can find in many stores. Another great product, I am very happy with it and recommend it to everyone.
