Five-star bathroom, but slippery floor needs a plastic mat for the elderly; still love it!

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of this plastic tray as well as the ease of assembly. Worth every penny more than its competitors. I'm 6ft, 0.82kg and found it quite spacious for a comfortable stay. Cons: The floor is as slippery as slippery for those of you old enough to remember. I had to add a bath mat and grab bars to the shower just for safety. The floor should be rough from the factory. In addition, not very important, but the so-called coaster is too small, but for the smallest glass of juice. and my wife is 5ft 2in, 120lbs (1.57m, 55kg) and we both fit in the tub with no problem. Cozy but not cramped. Dozens of times from purchase and start to finish maybe 5 minutes max as it inflates VERY quickly. We always unscrew the metal drain cap in the shower to ensure the drain pipe has extra room and edges to stay in place (see below). -- We store the entire tub and pump under our bed, which is slightly 127mm (5 inches) from the floor. Additional downsides, but not overly serious in our opinion: One inch, the water doesn't drain completely. So you need to get behind the pipe and end up draining about a gallon (3.78 liters). Remove dirt/scum to drain. -- The drain hose with the supplied adapter is too small. This actually happened a couple of times as we moved the tub during installation and one day ended up outside the drain and stuck under a huge amount of filled tub water with nowhere to go. Luckily, using a SOFT-SIDE plastic cutting board, we were able to lift the heavy tub about an inch and use a SOFT-ended pole to put it back in place. We continue to unscrew the metal drain cap (as before) and now insert the modified drain hose adapter into the drain: the problem is solved. It stays in place even if we move the tub vigorously during installation. (Photo 2: Parts of $3 ACE units. Important note: I completely smoothed the rough top edges of the nut so it doesn't pierce the bottom of the tub.) The small cup holder on the Tubble is an adapter for storing gadjit cups ( Gray). It works great and can even hold 20 ounces. (600 ml) bottle of Gatorade. I also covered it in a separate post. Conclusion: we still love this bath, even with its sins. With my modified bath mat and grab bar, slight tweaks to the waste tub, and a cup holder adapter, this is an excellent tub that meets all my expectations and other needs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
