Review on Discontinued Canon EOS 50D DSLR Camera Body for Sale by Seo Jun ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's the best purchase I ever made, I will definitely do it again.

I bought an original Canon EF-RF adapter with a switching ring especially for the camera! Cool stuff! Unlike a regular adapter for Canon EF or EF-S lenses, some functions can be reassigned to the ring of this adapter in the camera settings! I assigned aperture control, which gave me a feeling that you are shooting at Zenith :-) when you control the "hole" on the lens. Nice retrograde feeling. Later, I may add a review, but in general, everything is super! It is silly to advise something to those who choose between R5, R6 or are in pre-order for R3, but for those who choose between Canon EOS RP or R, I will definitely say, take R-ku!

Pros
  • Smart touch screen, 31MP, LP-E6 battery (in the best traditions :-) The entire fleet of lenses is installed on this device through an adapter, it seems, as they say, that lenses with an EF-S mount will also fit, but I don’t have such, I can’t check .
Cons
  • There is a proximity sensor and automatic switching between the screen and the eyepiece. This constant switching to the eyepiece gets annoying when you bring the device close to you or pass it by with your hand, for example, to poke at the screen :-) But (!) You can leave either the eyepiece or the screen on, there is such a function. The touchpad under the thumb of the right hand also pissed off when I assigned ISO to it. Because I shoot in the manual, then periodically changed the parameter out of habit. Not critical, but still . I changed the setting to check the focus and it became absolutely super! 4K with crop! Like, 1.75 . It's a shame :-( And at first it was frightening that even when the device was turned off, the active mode indicator was on on the upper display, but this is the norm Lots of small nuances, but they just need to get used to! Especially when you switch from a DSLR and then in your hands this unit with a Canon EF 70-200mm 2.8L II lens looks somehow ridiculous EF lenses are noisy! I didn’t notice buzzing on DSLRs, but here they became noisier
