In photography since 2022, but never got out of the "amateur" level. I have had a carcass for a couple of months, after taking a little picture, I determined for myself the following features: 1. Together with the ring on the adapter, three control rings are obtained, but they are not equivalent in functionality. For example, for the ring on the adapter, you can assign one of 8 functions, for the ring for the index finger - 4, and for the ring for the thumb, only two. 2. Probably this is not a claim to the camera itself, but to all cameras with an electronic shutter. In silent mode (electronic shutter) in a room with fluorescent lighting, shutter speeds of at least 1/60 are available. Anything shorter - creepy stripes appear in the frame. In the photo below (with adults) they are in varying degrees (everything at a shutter speed of 1/60). And the electronic shutter suppression mode does not work. Shooting with a shutter speed of 1/60 by 135/2 (in which there is no stub) is still a pleasure. On my skill, with a monopod and on static scenes - 2/3 frames in the trash. The rest are conditionally valid. Suitable for internet Before that, I used budget and old Sony A350, Nikon d40 DSLRs. Canon 600d, 5D2 and 200d. The last one is still there. Tracking autofocus is also available in the 200d and I would describe it as quite tenacious. The transition to R in this respect did not cause the effect of "wow" With an adapter, the camera becomes no less than 5d2. Yes, the weight is about the same. I put a small 200d with a pancake ef-s 24 / 2.8 in my jacket pocket. And the EOS R with an adapter and a pancake 40 / 2.8 fits only in the hood, albeit with a margin. And it’s also harder to shoot video with an arch on a stub than from a 200d + ef-s 24 / 2.8 + accsoon a1 plus + hoverboard setup https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=giTunv3Wnag I have two adapters, a native one with a control ring and a Chinese Commlite CM EF EOS R. I don’t feel a fivefold difference in price. The Chinese are great for their money. There are no backlashes, the connection between the camera and the lens is stable. Set and forget. The most significant minus is the Commlite inscription on the adapter. If it weren't for her, it would be a shame. All shots were taken in electronic shutter mode.
