Review on Discontinued Canon EOS 50D DSLR Camera Body for Sale by Arun Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No minuses as such, comfortable to use.

I must say right away that I almost never shoot video, mostly portraits and travel. Surprisingly, this information is almost nowhere on the Internet, but through Makovsky Thunderbolt 3, you can charge the camera. It seems like for such a function, Canon wants you to buy a charge for 200 bucks) In general, I'm satisfied with the camera, it's nice to shoot, but I think this is the main thing.

Pros
  • For me, the main plus of this system is very cool lenses. Everything else is trifles. Pleasant shutter sound, comfortable EVF, good autofocus in video, comfortable grip, nice nice materials, it's cool that different buttons are recessed in different ways, which negates accidental presses for example, the info or trash buttons. Personally, I also like turning the camera on and off, for me it’s better than accidentally turning on the UPC in my bag, which happened to me with Nikon. Bayonet shutter, smart menu. Convenient photo viewing, although I do not share the opinion of those who say that multi-touch gestures are convenient for zooming. For me it is more convenient and faster with one button. The 4-position joystick is surprisingly well made, it is pleasantly pressed in (small stroke) and does not look as poor live as in the photographs. Before that, I only had a canon 5d3, so I can say that the matrix here is very cool. Especially in terms of ISO and DD. I can’t say that it has become straight madness, but earlier ISO 6400 seemed like a marriage to me, now it looks very good. The color profiles have changed a little, as for me, for the better. I used to like only the standard camera, but now not only it. It is also worth noting that AF is really good in the dark. Well, 30 megapixels looks like the golden mean. For me personally, as a user of new poppies, a huge plus is that the connection interface here is USB type C. Surprised, but the battery holds VERY WELL.
Cons
  • This touch bar is a very controversial topic and I'm not very good at it. For some reason, they made it so that the Q-menu received a certain BZK option, for me stupid and inconvenient, and the last classic was perfect. Here it is also there, but for some reason it became more difficult to get to it. It's a bit inconvenient to switch Mode. One memory card, no comments here, if someone asks to shoot an important event, I will refuse. Subjectively, I never liked how hard the wheels spin on the Canon. Customization is not so complete, frankly. For example, you can't assign ISO to the top wheel. But on the back you can, and on the lens ring you can. WHY? The control ring on the lens is a bit of a dubious thing, I personally haven’t gotten used to it in a week and don’t want to use it. If you assign ISO switching to it, then turn it for a long time, and when you turn the auto ISO to the end it will not turn on, you need to climb into the screen. It seems that the diaphragm can be set, but I don’t change it often so that the convenience is doubtful. Autofocus sometimes raises questions, for example, I would very much like an even smaller AF point for portraits, otherwise sometimes focus on the eyebrow. Personally, for me, the focus point does not always change position when I turn the camera over, it looks like a soft bug.
