Revainrating 5 out of 5

it was terrible at best. So far we have 120-150 Mbit/s in .

I live in a 120 year old house made out of plaster, laths, bricks and so much wire and nails it's basically a Faraday cage. More specifically, her series. Standard wireless routers just weren't very good at penetrating walls, and even with bridging routers to extend the Wi-Fi signal, it was terrible at best. While we got 120-150 Mbps in the room with the main WiFi router, after two rooms we were lucky enough to get an average of 9-10 Mbps, if we were very lucky then 20. The network speed below was terrible too, down to their zero. I set up this system today and the process of getting everything online was pretty easy. I downloaded an app that walked me through the entire process and within minutes it was up and running. Then it was just a matter of setting up the access points, which was as simple as plugging it in and setting it up, which took two minutes. We're now getting speeds of 118Mbps both in the back of the house and downstairs. That's great! Automatic over-the-air backup to a networked hard drive (Time Capsule in our case) also runs smoothly and doesn't impact overall network performance like our old networked system did. If performance changes over time I will update the review. but so far we are very satisfied.
