I bought this for our 9wk old Australian shepherd. She took 3-4 minutes to figure it out, then she was able to get the yellow ones instantly every time we filled them. By day 2, she had mastered the white inner circle. By the end of the first week, she's still working on the red ones. I put little pupperoni treats in them instead of kibble like all the others because she had been just giving up on those. Now she spends a lot of time trying to get to them but mostly only gets them by happy accident. Perfect toy! I'm glad she's still working on it. It's a great way for her to spend a lot of time during the day (and gives me a nice break from chasing the puppy around)
