Review on Enhanced Safety with Cardinal Gates Extra Tall Premium Pressure Gate by Barbara Goodwin

Good tall gate (runaways no longer climb over wall), latches well and is secure so does not open when pushed. However, my main problem with this is that there is no "stay up" point here like there is with my other goals. As soon as you release it, it will strike with quite a bit of force. This is a problem with my little puppies in our puppy country. I'm worried that one of them might slip through my legs and slam the gate shut. And I have to hang a bungee cord so I can open it if I have to get in and out frequently while cleaning my puppies. Trying to get the vacuum and mop through the gate while it stays open is tricky. My other gate had a moment where the gate was fully open and it stayed open instead of rattling. I've always found this useful when carrying things in and out. Nice solid gates and I will continue to use them but definitely wish they had a 'stay open' point like my others.
