This coating covers a large area but is not durable. Also, it doesn't fit snugly, so air gets trapped underneath. The mirrors on my Ford Transit were completely closed and that seems to be enough. The attached rubber bands appear to snap if pulled too hard. I didn't have actual snow to test its ability to keep the windshield from freezing or snow on it. This remains to be seen. I was looking for something to match my Ford Transit and that's how I ended up with this one. If you are looking for something to cover a full size car I can tell you that I bought this first and it has been very durable and fits my Nissan Altima like a glove.
