Review on Toyo Observe G3-Ice 235/45 R17 94 winter by Mateusz Komorowski ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I do not advise buying this product, there is nothing to praise here.

The Chevrolet TrailBlazer is the vehicle. AUTO mode for the all-wheel drive system connects the front axle to the rear axle whenever the rear axle slides. In the latter part of autumn 2022, a quantity of 245 / 65R17 worth of Rubber 2022 release was obtained and installed. The first two hundred kilometers were completed in the expected cautious and unassuming manner. Further - mileage for two winters is approximately forty thousand kilometers, of which sixty percent is in the city and forty percent is on the highway. During the first winter, all of the studs on the rear wheels were removed, and the tread was worn down by around 40 percent. On the front wheels, more than half of the studs were removed, and 20-30 percent of the tread was worn away. Because of this, the car is unable to brake at all on any surface that is not made entirely of asphalt because the front wheels have been switched with the rear ones for the second winter in a row. The wheels were thrown away after the second winter and after they had accumulated forty thousand miles of use. The reason the overall rating is a "2" is because there are definitely tires that are worse, but I was fortunate enough to not drive on any of those tires. To be fair, there have been no complaints about the summer Proxes T1 Sport tires, which is why I decided to purchase Toyo tires for the winter as well - they are wonderful!

Pros
  • When it was brand new, we handled it without making any comments.
Cons
  • During the first winter, I was responsible for the loss of almost 80% of the spikes.
