Review Farberware Professional Soft Whisk Stainless Steel 12.2" Gray Reviews of various products are mixed and this review is all about the whisk. Feels good with a thick handle for those who prefer a stronger, firmer grip. The tines are rounded at the working end, which I mention simply because some prefer the flat-bottomed whisk style. The tines also seem to be well secured in the closed base so there shouldn't be any issues with the tines slipping out. The handle is soft and comfortable, although I prefer smaller diameter handles for whisks, but that's exactly what I prefer. Worked decently with some packaged pancake batter I received, although I preferred keeping the whisk slightly below the handle for this. Did a great job on the omelet yesterday but that was to be expected. The onion at the bottom is quite large, so after washing it will probably be dried handle down. The problem is that there may be some water left in the closed base that will spill out when the whisk is folded to its normal position with the tines down.
