Review on 🔌 Impressive Enhancements with iFi iPower X - Advanced Low Noise Power Supply DC Adapter (12V) by Nick Nigerson

I tested the ifi iPower X 12V/2A version with Archel 2.5 Pro and xDuoo TA-01b power supply. xDuoo TA-01b: I noticed brighter highs, less clipped mids, less bass, but tighter response, better separation, and better soundstage. It was way better than a random power supply. Archel 2.5 Professional Amplifier: What I noticed was a smaller soundstage and more midrange clipping. General negative results. That makes sense, because Geshelli Labs makes everything measurable, including the power supply. Conclusion: Your mileage may vary. Instead, you can buy the iFi AC iPurifier for $100. The iFi AC iPurifier sounds the same in all my settings: warmer sound and better separation. However, the ifi iPower X is still better than the ifi DC iPurifier/2: it over-filters and causes high-frequency roll-off and mid-range bloat.
