Suitable for charcoal, pens and pencils
The paper in these albums is wonderful. I have already bought different sizes as well as her black sketchbook. I'm not much of an artist, but I can attest that paper works well with charcoal, pencil, ballpoint, and Prismacolor crayons. Compared to previous sketchbooks I've used in the past, the paper is thicker and not as smooth and waxy, allowing for more layering and blending. I'm not the type to stick to one project after another. My only complaint is that the pages came out as I scrolled back and forth in my drawing pad. There are more problems with 11 x 14 than with others. Overall, I'm very happy with the Canson so far.
