The size does not include the fringes, one side is untied to fit the other side.

Well this product looks like it would fit in my bathroom but the overall size did not include the fringes on the carpet so it had to be trimmed. Also, I just wanted to say that thank goodness my men have patients because one side of the carpet fringe wasn't even tied! It took him about 30 minutes to tie them tight so they would fit on the other side and then he had to trim both sides to fit where they needed to be placed. Of course I haven't washed it yet, but it is very well made (except for the open side). .
