I debated whether to get the deeper pro or the pro +, but ultimately decided to shell out the extra cash, and I haven't been sorry about it. The echo sounder is well worth it. I tested it at a permanent fishing spot where I am familiar with every stone and blade of grass on the bottom, and it worked flawlessly the entire time. The application is also very user-friendly, allowing catches to be made from the boat, the bridge, or the shore, with all locations accurately reflected.
