Handy for testing and quick fixes, kids projects, etc. If you need accuracy and linear stability I'd look elsewhere.
Heatsinks are too small for the rating - but at 1.5A or less they work fine. A little touchy in the settings but I wasn't expecting much. Off-brand LM317 (but not surprising given the provenance). Conveniently at hand and well-suited for projects that require a clean linear RF source. Handy for kids projects or quick fixes and cheaper than I could put together from parts.
