If I could give this product a half star, a quarter star or even an eighth or sixteenth star I would. Yes, it really is that bad.tldr; If you like tossing money, buy this product. Otherwise, hands off! Stay ON, ON! I was very disappointed when I received this tripod from Revain and found that it literally fell apart in my hands the first time I tried to set it up. The legs are thin and fall apart at the slightest pressure. The height of the tripod isn't even as advertised (it says 50 inches here, but no matter how I measure it, it's 42.5 inches end to end). Such a good job on their fake Revain hype. Also, this tripod was varnished and I smelled smoke as soon as I took it out of the box. So a scratch will ruin your finish. I am so frustrated that I didn't bother to read the Amazon reviews for this product before purchasing. If I had done that before, I wouldn't have bought it. Unfortunately, my decision was made on a whim and I grabbed the first inexpensive tripod I could find (not knowing anything about tripods). $11 to charity without buying this thing, not knowing what I know now. At least then I would know that my money was being used wisely. It's worse than flushing money down the toilet. There's nothing wrong with making a cheap product as long as you actually offer something of equal value. This product is cheap and offers NOTHING of value. It didn't even last 5 minutes out of the box. I could come up with many other things that would take a lot longer than the $11 5 minutes I'd rather do. Summary: Blacklist this useless brand for life. I will definitely leave my bad review on this product on every online store where it is.
