The sound quality of the Bluetooth adapter is pretty good, I can't tell much difference between this and the connected one. I don't listen to bass stuff very much, so I can't comment on those cases. The distance they cover is pretty good. I have a Bluetooth dongle for my PC and I'm reasonably able to go to other rooms and still listen to music. My biggest problem is that for some reason one of the two Bluetooth connection channels is complete nonsense. It cuts the sound and is completely unusable. The brochure seems out of date and requires keyboard shortcuts to enable or disable multipoint devices and I believe this is the problem I am having. My advice would be to never connect to multiple points and then hope your adapter connects to the right one the first time, otherwise you'll have to fiddle with it for a while before it works.
