I purchased these for a sketching trip to Mexico. The first thing you notice about them is their heft when you pick them up. You can tell that this is quality paper right off the bat. The size is perfect for making on the go watercolor sketches or double wide panoramic scenes. It's just the right size for a take along travel sketchbook, and the elastic keeps your work from getting smudged and helps with keeping things flat. There's a pocket in the back for inserting momentos or for paint cards with dots or matchbook types of paint like Viviva. I really like them!
