Fits straight onto my 1997 F-250HD. After a few weeks of intermittent starting problems I decided on a starter motor. This particular one was offered at the best price I could find online or at my local parts store. Installation was very easy (I lived in Texas at the time so there was no rust!) 30 minutes. When I wanted to start the truck, the difference in engine speed was incredible. In all the years I've owned the truck, it has never started as quickly as it did with this starter.
