I'm a machinist! There were many other brands to choose from and the fact that it is abused in production every day is a real challenge! My previous one was 6 inches and had its limitations! So adding 2 inches is really handy! It was very accurate, easy to use, very smooth, numbers easy to read and looks professional! For the price I couldn't have asked for anything better! Very happy with this purchase!
