It works great - adds a spare pin not found on 4-pin adapters.
I don't know why Ford only supplies a 4 pin spade connector - the extra one is only used when you need it. Instead you need to use this product which connects a round 7 pin adapter to a 5 pin adapter that includes a hydraulic handbrake release when reversing. This does NOT apply to electric trailer brakes.
