The driver's side actuator does most of the work and usually goes first. I was shocked to find my truck not locking up due to a faulty actuator. I manually locked and unlocked my truck until this new replacement came along. I watched 3 different YouTube videos on how to install the device. It was easy to do and took about an hour. Saved a ton by making it myself. Try it.
