Not the best option for general lighting.
I recently bought these for my electric dirt bike. My bike had a small dual LED headlight that I wanted to upgrade. I thought they would be a good substitute but the radiation pattern is too narrow to be used in areas with no street lighting. drivers are good. These lanterns are great when you install them in combination with a main light that is already giving off enough light. If you're looking for something to help you see better in the dark, this isn't for you.
