Good. In theory: accessories

So I was looking for a SUP frame that didn't work and was easy enough to load. For the record, I have a Honda Passport and I'm only 5 feet tall. So the store was a problem. My board is 10.6" long and 32" wide. She weighs 28 pounds. Specifications are provided by the manufacturer. I liked this idea very much. Idea. And that's mostly true. Now I have a used version. When I opened the package it was clear that someone had at least tried to use it. I suspect they ended up having the same problem as me, which will make me want to shoot down the stars. In any case. So someone tried, and at the same time the metal parts of the "crane" were bent in the end without a ratchet. Parts of the faucet kept popping out of the rubber sheet they were looped through. Nothing could hold her back. They have a wide board, the taps mean these pieces are in the air. t, it's almost impossible to catch it with a loop so you can snap it into place. And that means you still have to change something. If you tighten everything, these cranes will lower and bend. I'm pretty sure that's what happened and why the previous owner brought it back. I had to pull them out so I could put them together to tighten them. Now that the board is loaded, they stand up straight. Which is a little problematic. One that doesn't have an easy fix other than just cutting it off. EVEN when they're up like that, it keeps popping out of that locking mechanism, which opens and gives you a quick release handle. What worries me is that it opens while driving. and then what? whoops I'm a bit afraid to hit the road with this tbh. It's just that the system isn't as practical as it's made out to be. If you have a narrower board, I think you can handle it a little better. I'd say 32 is definitely the max I could fit this on my rack (the crossbars are factory Honda handlebars). It was pretty easy to install. I think for a proper board/kayak this might work. To me? Eh I'm not very impressed. I don't know how to solve related problems.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I won't say anything
