Review on πŸ”§ Versatile Clamping Tool: Positioning Aluminum Woodworking Carpenter for Enhanced Accuracy by Robert Lemons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good square head screws are not 90.

I think I have enough squares to position now. Recently checked a few. I make quite a lot of cabinets though, and tools like this really come in handy. When I open the box I see that these are beautiful sets. The corners are well done with good finishes. Comes with everything you need to use them. It was well packed too. My famous angle was used and both positioners were exactly 90 degrees. I don't see any light anywhere. So I tip my hat to the production. The scale is good, I don't think I've ever seen a use for it, and it's in the metric system. One downside I have is the clamp screws, they are not 90 degrees. A little of the good. They still work, but since they're disabled, the corners will be different from where you set them. It doesn't affect the clamping, but it should be correct. I could fix them, but I don't have to. Turning the knobs is fine, nothing special, but they work. Strange thing, this company really needs a name change. Don't they notice? It doesn't seem. Clamp bolts aside, this is a good set and the price is a little better than most. would recommend.
