My dog is 17 and has separation anxiety. Sometimes she is restless at night. As soon as I started doing this she seemed to become hypnotized and passed out. He is so strong on my bed that I sleep to his rhythm too! If you get too close you might hear springs or something mechanical inside. This meant stepping into a stuffed animal. I just put it under my mattress topper and it's perfect. As such, it doesn't move and offers enough muting to appear realistic. Batteries don't last as long as advertised but I don't care it gives my dog priceless comfort.
