I bought this after my car had to bounce around due to a dead battery. I checked my battery during the jump and again before purchasing. Both tests indicated that my battery was dead. I was hoping to use the restore/repair feature on this device and use it for maintenance as well. I connected it with thin cables. It runs. Then shut down in less than 10 seconds. I checked again to make sure everything is connected correctly. Same result. Wash off and repeat several times. It never did anything but turn it on and off. The only satisfaction I had with this unit was the refund I was given after a trip to Whole Foods to return it.
