Love these little buffers. They're smaller in diameter than your regular rotary tool, so make sure you can fit a new mandrel to accommodate the smaller metal shank. I've used them on polymer clay, wood and stone. They work great, but be aware that when you FIRST TIME use them, cotton will fly everywhere. I recommend plugging your rotary tool into an outside outlet or garage the first time you use it. Thereafter, cotton shedding is generally minimized. They last a while unless you use some kind of paste or polish on them. I've found that they produce a coarser finish at higher speeds and more pressure, and a finer finish at lower speeds and less pressure. A wonderful addition to any craftsman/jeweler's toolbox.
