Faulty design: Rough plumbing
This spout is completely unusable. I've installed several of these in the past but never this brand. The design is too complicated compared to other brands and just doesn't work. To work with an unthreaded tube the two plastic pieces must be aligned so that the screw goes straight through them, but when screwed all the way together the holes will not line up. If you loosen it so that they line up, the extra space will allow water to flow through the gap and back into your wall. Spend a few bucks more for a famous brand.
