The outlet of the Danko bath. Fast, simple and beautiful

Thanks to Revains' excellent service I was able to get a replacement right away. I had a run for 1/2 copper pipe. The locking screw was difficult to reach as my spout is very close to the tub. I replaced it with a hex head. The secret is to buff the plug with fine steel wool to ensure a good o-ring seal. Follow the simple instructions and you only have a few minutes to install it. My original Danco was fine, but we replaced the chrome with brass.

  • Easy to read control panel

DO NOT BUY on Sink & Bath Spout

Not cut all the way through, bullshit in my situation. Same problem as others posted on U-Tube, 1 person mentioned that additional purchase of slip ring takes up wall space. Well that's great it should come with it, you can also cut off the sweaty (soldered) pipe and then put the generic plastic on top of the copper pipe etc but why bother doing all this. I just ordered more precisely and got the correct spout. I think it was a DELTA outlet. DANCO must provide the ring with the KIT

Faulty design: Rough plumbing

This spout is completely unusable. I've installed several of these in the past but never this brand. The design is too complicated compared to other brands and just doesn't work. To work with an unthreaded tube the two plastic pieces must be aligned so that the screw goes straight through them, but when screwed all the way together the holes will not line up. If you loosen it so that they line up, the extra space will allow water to flow through the gap and back into your wall. Spend a few…

Confusing instructions, had to change

For 1/2" copper pipe protruding from wall (1/2" copper fitting). The instructions are very poorly written, I doubt the person who wrote them even installed them. However, when tightening a plastic extension onto a plastic adapter with an O-ring in between, the "formed hole" for the screw ends up on the wrong side. Does not fit the slot in the adapter. I drilled a 1/4 hole on the opposite side of the cast hole. It worked. No Leaks The quality of the spout itself is good and looks good and the…
